Redesigned Chrysler 300C sedan debuted at the LA Auto Show

2015 Chrysler 300C was significantly changed and presented at Los Angeles Auto Show. Now the emblem moved to the bigger grille, as well as trapezoidal exhaust pipes and other lamps were installed to the new model. In general the body and the technical equipment remained the same. There is a new 8-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, but the core LX platform is the same.

The specialists reconfigured an adaptive electric power steering, there appeared an active cruise control, which is now taught to slow down the car to a complete stop and then accelerates it from a traffic light. A frontal collision and lane control systems were added to blind spot warning system.

Now all modifications are completed only with an eight-speed automatic. Motors remained unchanged – 3.6-liter V6 providing 296 hp, and 5.7-liter V8 (368 hp). As before, Chrysler 300C is available with a rear- and all-wheel drive.

Chrysler 300C was launched in 2014, and the base price in the US started at $ 32,390. According to Corporation Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Five-Year Plan, an updated 300C should hold out until 2018, when a brand new car will debut.
