Yes, there appeared new engines and an eight-speed automatic transmission, but the core platform remained LX, almost like the Mercedes E-Class last generation. We remind that when 300C was in the process of development two companies worked closely together. Engineers reconfigured an adaptive electric steering booster, installed an active cruise control, which is now taught to slow down the car to a complete stop and then accelerates it from the point of the traffic light. In addition to the Blind Spot Warning System specialists installed frontal collision and lane keeping control system.

Now, all modifications are equipped only with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The engines remain unchanged – a 3.6-liter 6-cylinder providing 296 or 304 hp, and 5.7-liter 8-cylinder generating 368 hp. But the charged version SRT8 with the 6.4-liter V8 developing 477 hp will not longer be offered. As before, Chrysler 300C is available with rear and all wheel drive.
