April 3, 2015 at 7:58 pm

Chrysler Group has announced that as from the end of 2014, almost all cars of Chrysler and Jeep brands will receive a stop-start system as a standard feature. A stop-start system will be able to shut the engine off when the vehicle stops, and then the system automatically restarts it at the same instant when the driver releases the brake or clutch pedal. Chrysler made the system work like that: the supply of the fuel to the engine is cut off when the vehicle comes to a stop. When the engine is off, the radio and other accessories keep working.
