2017 Chrysler Portal Concept will receive serial version

Concern Fiat Chrysler Automobiles plans to bring to the world market the production version of the concept of the electric minivan Chrysler Portal Concept after 2018. World premiere of the model took place at the exhibition CES-2017 in Las Vegas.

Electric minivan 2017 Chrysler Portal Concept debuted in Las Vegas (Part 2)

Prototype of Chrysler Portal Concept is equipped with two monitors. The first one is located in the upper part of the center console. This screen is divided into three separate segments – the instrument panel, navigation / circular scanning system and entertainment functions. Conceptual model has received autonomous control system that involves the exchange of information with the road infrastructure objects and other vehicles.

Chrysler automaker unveiled electric minivan Portal Concept (Part 2)

Conceptual electric van Chrysler Portal Concept also received sliding seats that allow you to easily transform the interior space. Inside the new car there are no physical buttons – all the control of the car’s systems and technologies is carried out by means of touch panels. Plus, the prototype is equipped with a unique steering wheel and the docking station that allows you to connect up to ten mobile devices.

FCA and Google presented driverless minivan Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid (Part 1)

Automotive Alliance Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Google have officially introduced a hybrid minivan Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, equipped with automatic control systems. Serial production of the driverless vehicle will be performed by Waymo brand – Google subsidiary company, responsible for the development and implementation of autonomous driving technologies in the various transport sectors.
